A Lifetime of
Service — Now for
Anderson County

A proud Clinton High School graduate, Colt Jennings has dedicated his life to his country, his community, and now, to the people of Anderson County.

He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 2004–2008 with the elite 82nd Airborne Division, deploying to Afghanistan and Iraq as an Infantryman and Designated Marksman. After a decade in the rail and marine industries, he graduated from the police academy in Pensacola, Florida, and began his law enforcement career before returning home to Tennessee.

For the past 3.5 years, Colt has served as a patrol deputy with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office — completing specialized training, serving as a Field Training Officer, and advancing through Instructor Development to mentor the next generation of deputies.

Three Fights Worth Showing Up For

I'm not here to make excuses. I'm here to get results — and these are the changes Anderson County needs first.

01

Drug Enforcement

The drug epidemic is tearing at Anderson County families. I'll take the fight straight to the dealers and traffickers poisoning our neighborhoods — and treat addiction like the crisis it is.

  • Stand up a dedicated narcotics unit to target dealers and trafficking routes
  • Partner with state and federal task forces to dismantle supply networks
  • Equip every deputy with overdose-reversal tools to save lives on scene
  • Connect families to real treatment and recovery resources
02

Safer Schools

No parent should send a child to school afraid. Protecting our kids is non-negotiable — and it takes a real plan, not a press release.

  • Put trained School Resource Officers in the schools that need them most
  • Build modern active-threat response plans with every school in the county
  • Strengthen the partnership between deputies, teachers, and parents
  • Invest in prevention and threat assessment before a crisis ever hits
03

A Modern Office

Today our deputies patrol with no body or dash cameras, no drones for search and rescue, no trauma medical kits, and no modern rifles or radar. They deserve better — and so do you.

  • Outfit every deputy and vehicle with body and dash cameras for full transparency
  • Deploy drones, trauma kits, and modern equipment for patrol, search & rescue
  • Fully staff our patrols so no call for help goes unanswered
  • Hold every deputy accountable to the people they serve
